Tuition Fees and Educational Expenses for Deserving Students

  • November 09 , 2013

Description

Cost : $1300 Status: Funds Transferred
Beyond Intent intends to provide financial support to four students, above and beyond the basic tution fees. The support would provide for their tuition fees, stationary etc. so they dont fall short in their acadamics.

1) Prajakta and Pradnya Kolambekar – Prajakta is attending 3rd year of college, pursuing Bachelors in Commerce. Its an important juncture in her life and her future will to a large extent be determined by her performance. Pradnya is attending 10th grade, support at this age is required so enthusiasm in studies continue. Both the girls are supported by their father Prashant, who works as a driver/office assistant. He is committed to provide the best to his children, who are also enthusiastic about academics.

2) Sahil and Atharva Parab – Sanjay Parab (Father of Sahil and Atharva) works as a rickshaw driver, and supports 2 sons and his wife. He is a product of the municipal school system, and is convinced that his kids deserve better than that. He could not secure an admission for them in english medium schools. However, he sends them to marathi medium schools, in the hope that they will eventually join their english speaking counterparts in college. His elder son (Sahil) is studying in Std VI, and his younger son (Atharva) is in Standard III.
