Mission Statement
We intend to harness the educational potential of the millions of those less fortunate in India by providing infrastructural and educational resources required to go beyond primary and secondary education.
What?
'Beyond Intent' was formed exclusively for educational and infrastructural related projects. At 'Beyond Intent', we strongly believe that education is the most potent weapon towards empowerment. While there are quite a few non-profit organizations that are aimed at primary education, there are not many that work with students who have the potential and aspirations to study beyond high school. It is this area where 'Beyond Intent' would like to address and make a difference. At the same time we will be open to supporting needy students who are in primary and/or middle schools.
Why?
At beyond Intent we truly believe that in order for India to establish it self as a developed country there has to be a growth in what is termed as "knowledge economy". Education is the fundamental facilitator of such a knowledge economy. Well-educated and skilled people are key to creating, sharing, disseminating, and using knowledge effectively. Hence our aim is to facilitate the creation of "knowledge workers"—people with considerable theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge from varied areas who would add greater value to the development of India and in turn lift millions out of poverty.
