Ameet Desai
“After volunteering for a couple of years at a homeless shelter, I got to see first hand how even a little help can mean so much to people. It was the catalyst to make sure a portion of my life was devoted to helping others improve their lives. 'Beyond Intent' allows us provide a solid foundation for the underprivileged through education. The goal is give them access to better opportunities and impart on them the need to complete the cycle by helping others, whose lives they can also make a difference. The best way to eradicate poverty is through education.”
Ameet joined in July 2008 and is involved in marketing and fund raising for 'Beyond Intent'. He got his B.S. degree from Babson College and recently his MBA from the University of California, San Diego. He is a part owner of a medical device company headquartered in San Diego. He enjoys reading, hiking and taking part in several sports from soccer to water skiing.
